Visits Programme 2020/1

We organise visits to various properties owned by the National Trust as well as properties in private hands. We also visit cities and other locations of architectural and historical interest to provide something for every member.  The visits use comfortable coaches and the cost of the trip includes this element. There are several pickup points in Abingdon and also in Wallingford and are detailed in the information about the visits, below.  Click on the venue name or photograph to find out more about the places to be visited.

There is an extra cost for entry if you are not a member of the National Trust itself where visits are to their properties, but all are welcome.  Closing dates are usually two weeks prior to the date.  Please follow the instructions on the Booking Form.

To find out more please email visits@abingdonnt.org.uk.

All activities of the Association are currently suspended in line with Government guidelines following the Coronavirus pandemic.  There will be no visits this summer.  We do not know when our usual activities will be resumed but this website will be updated when anything changes.

We have the intention of rescheduling the 2020 visits for 2021.  The outline plan is as follows although we do not have precise dates at the moment.

May 2021 - Hughenden Manor and Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital

June 2021 - Radstock Mining Museum and Great Chalfield Manor and Garden

July 2021 - Calke Abbey

August 2021 - Lamport Hall

September 2021 - Packwood House
